"Having recently moved to Cambodia, the intricate paper cutaways from artist Lauren Iida help her process and preserve her experiences with the people and landscape of the country. A recent graduate of Cornish College of the Arts, Iida’s work explores notions of figure and place that transcend geographic and cultural borders. Her images demonstrate that despite our distances, we all inhabit the same bodies and share the same moments."

Showcasing
Seattle's Diversity

"The Ethnic Artist Roster is a diverse list of artists of color who were selected through a panel process for exhibition opportunities in city owned or affiliated galleries.

This site is a resource to anyone who is looking for artwork by artists of color or who wants to host a culturally relevant art exhibition."
